Place, Abidjan (part 2), Africa

Texts & Photography Cedric Kouamé

“I was born in Abidjan and as I grew up I started feeling that the city was the economical center of all the exchange going in/out in Côte d’ivoire, this economic centralization occurs a strong architectural clash between some of the most beautiful African modernist buildings and the vernacular architecture that you encounters everyday. This serie of pictures was sampled from my archive of 35mm films from 2016 - 2017.”
