«WHEN TIME AND SPACE AND CHANGE CONVERGE, WE FIND PLACE. WE ARRIVE IN PLACE WHEN WE RESOLVE THINGS. PLACE IS PEACE OF MIND AND UNDERSTANDING. PLACE IS KNOWLEDGE OF SELF. PLACE IS RESOLUTION». - Abdullah Ibrahim, Musician.

editor's note

When I am looking at the past issues produced, I feel weird and keep telling myself "It could have been greater". I want to improve my work, even if it’s already the sixth issue, it feels like a new chapter. I need to do something different each time, trying to not copy paste things I’ve done, it wouldn’t be exciting for me as a creative person. Challenge yourself could be a daily struggle. However, once you overstep your fears and think about what you achieved you perceive the pain was worth it.

With time you change and evolve. I can relate to all the things I’ve lived and experienced. You have to find the right balance, learn what was missing and what do you need to do to get some relief whilst creating.

Many things have changed since the last JOURNAL. When I am thinking about Japan,  I imagine this girl you met through the Internet although unfortunately, she is living on the other side of the planet, even so, you are talking to her on a daily basis, exchanging things about your private life... You feel like you know her completely, her perfections and her flaws. There is no secret between you and her, a connexion.

At a young age, I was attracted to Japanese culture, I learned how to draw by watching Manga, animes on TV and I borrowed a few from my brother's collection until I got enough money to buy mine. I became a geek, I drew all the time. I don’t need to think about it, this time I want to breathe, let go and let things happen.
